30 Days of Thanks -- CHALLENGE!

Hi Everyone!
(We have three followers, and they are ourselves. Hmm.)

Anyway -- I was reading Always a Reason to Run, and she is doing her 30 Days of Thanks again for the entire month of November. I think it is a great idea, and I am doing it on mine.
I think we should all do it!

1. It will help us to be mindful of the blessings in our life, which helps us to stay positive and motivated.

2. It will give us something to blog about EVERY day! Woo-hoo!

3. And .... um.... we could link back here to get this blog more active!

Who's Up for A Challenge?

So I confess, I have been TERRIBLE about my eating!

But, I was nursing my son until just recently, and now all of a sudden, I don't have this nice cushion of extra calories that were being burned.  Adding insult to literal injury, I have been dealing with plantar fasciitis and been unable to run or do any jumping up and down, or much weight bearing on my left foot, so that has made... um.... MY ENTIRE LIFE difficult!

So....  I am thinking that I need some kind of challenge to get me going and keep me honest. What do you all think?

Welcome to the first post of Will Run For Cake. We are so very excited about this project.

Where did this fabulous and amazing idea come from?
EXCELLENT question. There is a wonderful group of incredible women that have been supporting each other since there were in the middle of the Couch to 5K program. We religiously logged on to our group page, and update each other on each run, good or bad. Now we are all pursuing follow up goals, such as 5K and 10K races, and even 1/2 marathons and triathlons! It is so inspiring to be watching each other set goals and ACHIEVE them.

One day, we decided to take it a step further. And here we are!
We are still thinking about all the different possibilities for the site, and can't wait to watch it all unfold!
